Poultry Export from Anhui Province Resumed |

In mid-December, 26 tons of frozen chicken thigh produced by Hewei Group was shipped to Bahrain, Middle East. This is the first time that poultry export in the province is realized since the suspension in 2001.
According to Anhui Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, before 2001, 8 companies in the province were certificated to export poultry product. Due to the international strict quarantine caused by SARS and the bird flu, poultry export has been in break for a long time. In order to guarantee the safety and sanitation of the poultry products , the bureau has enforced strict supervision and taken great measures to support poultry exporting enterprises, such as the rigid inspection to the toxic substance and disease in farms, and Salmonella controlling in raising and slaughtering.
安徽省禽肉产品重新出口
12月中旬，和威公司生产的26吨冷冻鸡腿肉顺利装箱发往中东巴林。这是我省自2001年中断禽肉出口以来，首次实现禽肉产品出口。
据安徽检验检疫局介绍，2001年之前，我省有出口禽肉企业8家，后来由于“非典”和禽流感疫情流行，国际社会对禽肉产品严密封锁，我省禽肉出口一直处于中断状态。为重启禽肉出口“大门”，该局一方面严格考核，一方面主动加大对企业的扶持力度，对出口产品的有毒有害物进行监测，对养殖区域进行疫病监测，并按某些国家对禽肉的特殊要求，加大对养殖场、屠宰场沙门氏菌的监控频率等，有力控制了可能发生的卫生质量隐患，保证了出口产品的安全卫生。
